PC Railways comprises Gary McArthur (thegeneral) and Steve Richardson (steve246) living in Burnie, on the northwest coast of Tasmania, Australia. We have a common interest in Auran’s TRAINZ Railroad Simulator and in particular with creating third party add-on items with a Tasmanian origin. We originally got together with the aim of creating scenery for a prototypical route of the Emu Bay Railway, which extends from here in Burnie to Melba Flats some 150km to the south. This railway has been in operation for over 100 years and is famous for the diverse and beautiful scenery that it traverses. At over 500 base-boards this is proving to be a major undertaking and along the way we have found ourselves sidetracked on various more manageable projects.
